This category includes various types of elements whose common feature is that they consist of four or more walls and possibly a roof/floor produced in a single monolithic casting. This technique significantly reduces assembly time and provides high performance in terms of structural rigidity and watertightness. Fabrications typically produced with these systems include air-boxes, garages, bathrooms, elevator shafts, tanks, electrical substations, and prefabricated room blocks. NOVATEC formwork, thanks to the implementation of automated systems, allows the length, width, height and thickness of the elements to be varied, making production extremely flexible.
Inserts such as doors and windows can be made with folding counterframes that operate with a well-developed system of connecting rods that ensure perfect demolding.
